"Regional & Geopolitical Dimensions of the Syrian Crisis" is the first panel from the Center for Middle East Studies' conference, "Resolving the Syrian Crisis," hosted by the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School of International Studies on January 10 & 11, 2013. The panel includes moderator/discussant and University of Denver professor of comparative & international law, Ved Nanda, Michigan State University professor of political science, Mohammed Ayoob, former Dean of the Josef Korbel School, Tom Farer, and Ambassador Christopher Hill, current Dean of the Josef Korbel School and former Ambassador to Iraq. The panelists discuss the regional and international implications of the Syrian conflict, and debate what, if any, options the United States and international community have available to quell it.
